Mario A. Giacobbe Appointed to New York State Court of Claims Judge
Former BAEC Director Mario A. Giacobbe has been appointed to New York State Court of Claims Judge by Gov. Kathy Hochul. Mario was appointed by District Attorney John J. Flynn to his current post in August 2021.
Neighborhood Legal Services Opens 4th Office in Lockport, New York Neighborhood Legal Services has opened a new office at 135 Main Street Lockport, NY (716) 201- 0046 with office hours Monday through Friday 9 am to 4:30 pm. The office is open immediately for
in-person and telephone appointments. Serving Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Wyoming and Orleans counties, Neighborhood Legal Services is a free civil legal services firm specializing in domestic violence prevention, divorce, and other family law matters; eviction prevention, housing conditions/housing discrimination matters; health insurance access; disability, Social Security disability/SSI hearings; SNAP, shelter/benefits counseling, and other government benefits. Offices are located in Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Batavia and now Lockport. Neighborhood Legal Services’ Justice Bus program works with community-based agencies to increase access to justice by bringing lawyers into communities where the most vulnerable western New York residents need legal assistance for basic needs such as food, shelter and safety.

I am also a Certified Federal Court Mediator. My fees are extremely reasonable, certainly a more cost effective alternative than a trial.
