Bench and Bar In the News Jonathan J. Schutrum has joined Hurwitz Fine P.C. as an Associate in the firm’s litigation department. Jon focuses his practice in medical and professional malpractice defense, nursing home litigation, municipal and governmental litigation, product liability and insurance defense litigation. Jon graduated magna cum laude from George Washington University before earning his Juris Doctor degree from the Syracuse University College of Law. Stephen M. Sorrels has joined Hurwitz Fine P.C. as a Member. Steve focuses his practice in medical and professional malpractice defense, nursing home litigation, municipal and governmental litigation, product liability, construction accidents, premises liability, school district liability and insurance defense litigation. He is an experienced trial and appellate attorney and has successfully prosecuted and defended legal actions in both New York State Courts and Federal Courts. Steve attended the University of Akron where he earned his Juris Doctor degree and completed his undergraduate studies in Communications and Psychology at the University of Cincinnati.
