Maxwell C. Radley has joined Hurwitz Fine P.C. as an Associate in the firm’s Business Services and Economic Development and Public Incentives practice groups. Liz is an experienced trial attorney with success defending matters involving medical malpractice, long-term care facilities, Jennifer Rodgers has been practicing for over twenty years in the insurance defense field with a wide range of experience including, products liability, premises liability, municipal law, motor vehicle accidents, and appeals. She is admitted to practice in the courts in the State of New York and is admitted to the United States District Court, Western District of New York. Ms. Rodgers graduated from SUNY College at Fredonia with a BA in English and obtained her JD from Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. She is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County. She lives in Hamburg, NY with her husband and children. The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) has elected Donna L. Burden , managing partner and a founding member of Burden, Hafner & Hansen, LLC in Buffalo, New York, as a new member of the IADC Board of Directors for 2022-23. The election was announced at the IADC’s 2022 Annual Meeting July 14 in Berlin, Germany. A member of the IADC since 2011, Ms. Burden also currently serves as vice president of the IADC Foundation. Ms. Burden practices throughout the state of New York, focusing in the areas of trucking and transportation negligence, automobile liability, labor law, employment law, sexual harassment and discrimination, school law, products liability, medical device, municipal law/government liability, professional liability, and premises liability. She has more than three decades of experience defending against catastrophic personal injury claims. Elizabeth G. Adymy has joined Hurwitz Fine P.C. as Special Counsel in the firm’s Medical Malpractice & Nursing Home Liability practice groups. Beth has an extensive background in successfully representing medical providers, including private and municipal hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and physicians and physician extenders in both medical malpractice actions and professional disciplinary matters. Beth obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. She also received her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she received her B.A. in political science. Joseph A. Matteliano has joined and will be “Of Counsel” to the Sugarman Law Firm, LLP in its Buffalo Office. Mr. Matteliano, with over forty years of trial experience, will practice in the firm’s litigation and arbitration/mediation departments. A former partner in the firm of Augello & Matteliano, LLP, he has his B.A. and J.D. degrees from SUNY Buffalo.
